About us

As a fan of old historic dog breeds, I have been interested in English bulldogs since my youth. Yet what health problems have I gone through with my fosterlings. To see such true companions wasting away due to breeders’ misplanning and extreme health problems is a lasting and painful experience.
The fascination for such dogs and this old breed remained and was rekindled after hearing about Mrs Imelda Angehrn (Pickwick kennels) from Switzerland, who invested a large amount of time and money to look after the breed of English bulldogs. She wanted to make the breed what it used to be. They were to become “chaps” that were fit as a fiddle, good-natured, friendly and always in a playful mood.
When I saw these Continental Bulldogs in Switzerland, it became obvious that I wanted to become involved in this task.
In order to promote and improve this breed, one has to breed them and follow the goals one sets.

Our puppies are only given to places that are proven good.
Should you have any question regarding the breeding of the dogs, you can contact us. We would be glad to look after dogs bred by us while you are on holiday.
